ummm...the joys of retirement ~ No More Commuting!
But while on the last trip in Las Vegas, while 'commuting' from shopping, touring & crusin, it was a weekend newspaper run on the route home to a neighborhood vacation rental when the driver, not knowing the route, made a wrong turn. It was fortuate that another passenger helped convince him of the error. The weirdest part was watching him negociate a 'Uie' in the middle of the block! You'd think a bus driver would know the route! Oh well! Weird!
Which are your favorite sites for shopping online?
When our stuff arrives from Amazon, we're always shocked how great it is to get such splendid service! The system is exceptionally smooth & we've NEVER had ANY problems. The other 'online shopping' sites can't even come CLOSE! We'd never bother tryin anything else & don't even git me started on the infuriation with 'ebay'! Wodda full waste of time n effort!

A Grandfather Clock was one of the 1st 'Big' gifts to the bride early in our relationship.
A 'Big' Collection of Music [25+ yrs in the making] & a 10 inch Open Reel Deck to a good friend when leaving Honolulu.
A Blue MG [to match my red one] was a 'big' hit with the bride, too.
Best? $50k to the bride!
